1st day of 3K

This morning, I had to wake up Rubygail at 5:50am to make sure she would get dressed and ready on time for her big day! She was so excited and very cooperative so early in the morning. I did manage to snap a couple of pictures on the way out of the door (literally!).

Here is my big girl all smiles for her first day of school:

I, of course, didn't get the cutie pie pics of her with her book bag BECAUSE I forgot her book bag! As I was pulling out of the garage, it hit me, I slammed on breaks, ran inside, grabbed the book bag and off we went. So, I took some after pictures of Rubygail with her book bag and also of her holding up her binder so very proudly!

She was so proud of her binder and she asked me to take pictures, not only of the binder, but also INSIDE the binder....so cute!

Of course, the shirt is untucked and the hair is a mess, but she had a blast!


Conversation on the way home:

Ruby: We're going to do a talent show one day.

Mama: Wow, that's cool!

Ruby: That's when we get to show what we've got!

Mama: (laughing) What are you going to do?

Ruby: I don't know....(thinking....smiling)...I'm going to be silly!

Now, that right there is a talent! :)
