The little Coulters

The little Coulters

Month's end...

So, from Sept. 9th to Sept. 26th, it's obvious I'm not keeping up with this as much as I had intended. We've, as usual, been busy! We did go up to NC to visit Maw-Maw and Granddaddy Coulter. Grayson and Rubygail had a great time hanging out with them and so did Mama and Daddy! While the kids stayed in Vale, the parents went up to Asheville for the day. Ben had a conference at the Grove Park Inn and I used the morning to enjoy sitting in the beautiful Grove Park Inn and grade notebooks. It may not sound glamourous, but it was very nice and relaxing! It was a wonderful weekend! I know that I said I would take pictures, but I didn't take many. Here are a couple of the Coulters right before we headed back to Charleston.

In the past couple of weeks, Grayson's gotten a haircut (finally), Rubygail and Grayson have had picture day at school, Ben and Rubygail have started a batch of wine, and Rubygail has gone on her first fieldtrip (to the fire museum.....she LOVED it!).

Our next BIG event is Rubygail's 4th birthday and party! She turns 4 this Wednesday, but her party isn't until Oct. 9th. It's going to have a ducky theme. Suzanne was wonderful and designed the invitations, party favor tags, AND cupcake toppers! Tonight, I made a tutu for Rubygail to wear. Here are some pictures of it:I was actually pretty impressed with the final product. And, yes, I know the 'duckie theme' is usually based on yellow, but Rubygail's favorite color is green. Green is our 'accent' color, I guess you could say! :)

I adore the tutu! And how cute is it that Ruby and Ben are making wine together! Awesome! :)

I just cannot believe she's about to turn 4. Where has the time gone?!?!
