Staying Busy

So, I'm doing my best to keep this blog updated. We've been pretty busy these last couple of weeks. School and work are our lives, it seems. Rubygail still is enjoying 'big' school. She is definitely more tired now in the evenings, which is great for getting her to bed by 7:30pm. Each day I seem to dislike 5am more and more, instead of adjusting. Grayson seems to be getting some teeth in, maybe 2 year molars, and doesn't like to sleep past 5am, even on weekends. He was so tired two Saturdays ago, that he fell asleep during morning snack time.

I sat down to check email and then I looked up and over in the chair....he was fast asleep. I went over to try to wake him, but he was OUT!

So, early nap which led to early to bed! :)

Rubygail has been enjoying helping Mama and Daddy cook. Here are some pictures of our little chef helping Daddy cut up potatoes:

Rubygail is wearing her apron that goes with her play kitchen (a hand-me-down) from her Lindsay (we LOVE hand-me-downs!). I think I need to make her a new apron....this one barely covers her now! Maybe that'll be my next sewing project. Sounds simple enough!

Here is Rubygail being silly while helping me make apple pancakes. I didn't know that someone could love the taste of Bisquick so much!

And don't worry, Grayson is staying busy.....usually trying to get into some sort of trouble.

Or just playing with his farmer magnets and trucks....in desperate need of a haircut, but who's got the time? :)

This past weekend, Mama and Daddy took a little trip up to see some great friends and watch NC State win their first football game of the season! :) Rubygail and Grayson spent a great weekend with Mimi and G-paw. I don't have any pictures from our trip, but if I come across any, I'll post them! We're getting ready to drive up 'north' to see Maw Maw and Grandaddy this weekend and hopefully pictures will come next week! Ben has a conference in Ashville and we've decided to make a family trip out of it and stay in Vale.
